Afan Valley Adventure Resort Project Reaches Milestone with Submission of EIA Scoping Report

As the Afan Valley Adventure Resort project continues to gain momentum, I am delighted to share some exciting new developments.

The project has recently taken a substantial leap forward with the submission of the Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Report to Neath Port Talbot Council. This large-scale report is designed to identify any technical issues associated with the site, from air quality to transport links in the area. Nineteen47, who has been instructed on behalf of Afan Valley Ltd to co-ordinate an Environmental Statement, expects that the report will be a resounding success.

Following the submission of the report, design proposals for the resort were reviewed at a hugely productive project meeting. The next meeting in late September is expected to produce further developments, including proposals for the individually designed lodges which will perfectly complement the style and experience that will be found in each of the resort’s zones.

The innovative team behind the Bear Grylls Survival Academy have also begun to refine their vision for the resort. Their new course will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of what is going to be an incredible visitor experience.
