Make the most of your lunch break

Sitting behind a desk for many hours a day can lead to stiffness and muscular aches and pains, so incorporating short breaks throughout the day to move around is a great way to keep both your mind and body active at work.

Reclaiming your lunch break by going for a short walk to grab a bite to eat, or simply to stretch your legs, is a simple and easy way of ensuring you aren’t slumped at your desk for eight solid hours.

Get your posture right

If your work is desk based, you’ll likely be familiar with the aching neck, back and shoulders that come with sitting down in front of a computer for long hours. It’s easy to get into bad habits, like slumping in front of the keyboard, so make sure your chair has the correct support to keep you comfortable.

Keep active

Keeping active is good for the body and mind, so making an effort to maintain a healthy lifestyle around work is important.
